I am a PhD candidate in the CUNY Graduate Center philosophy program. I also have a M.A. in philosophy from University of Missouri-St. Louis. My research interests lie mostly in the intersections between aesthetics, philosophy of mind, cognitive science, and ontology. I am currently working on my dissertation, entitled “Problems, Puzzles, and Paradoxes for A Moral Psychology of Fiction” under the advisement of Dr. Jesse Prinz. I am currently a Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC) fellow at Brooklyn College.

Most of my interests besides philosophy involve being in the great outdoors. I am an avid runner (any race from a 5k, up) and rock climber. Some of my fellow philosophy graduate students recently competed in a Tough Mudder (see the ‘after’ picture below!) and plan on doing it again this fall.
